Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes Grant Recipient | 2025
With help from a $500 Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes Grant, our team kicked off Full STEAM Ahead! a project to spark curiosity and creativity in young students in Delray Beach, Florida. We built and delivered custom STEAM kits and led fun, hands-on workshops at Daughter of Zion Junior Academy, reaching over 100 students.
With help from a $500 Hershey Heartwarming Young Heroes Grant, our team kicked off Full STEAM Ahead! a project to spark curiosity and creativity in young students in Delray Beach, Florida. We built and delivered custom STEAM kits and led fun, hands-on workshops at Daughter of Zion Junior Academy, reaching over 100 students.
Our team created activities focused on sustainability, engineering, and flight, from building solar circuits to growing microgreen gardens and solving shape puzzles. We even came back over the summer to launch STEAM in Motion, combining movement and science to show that learning doesn’t have to be boring, it can be active, artistic, and inspiring.
