As a founding member of our school’s UNICEF Club, I helped launch several community projects that connected local needs with global impact. In February 2024, we organized a food drive that provided weekend meals for over 100 families in Broward county. We also partnered with Food For The Poor, and collected and delivered more than 100 children’s books to support literacy efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In July 2025, I took part in Youth Advocacy Training, where I learned how to campaign, understand policy, and mobilize other young people to create meaningful change. These experiences showed me that even small, student-led actions can contribute to global solutions, and that advocacy starts with empathy, creativity, and a willingness to lead.
